Banquet OCT Artbook

To celebrate the progression of BANQUET OCT, we are putting together an artbook featuring Banquet OCT artworks. This will include full page illustrations, character art, and potentially, short comics. Because this book will be released as a PDF, there are no size restrictions with regards to print — but, if we get several requests for a print edition, then the rules will change based on demand. Requests will result in the provision of a print-on-demand service, which means those requesting will be fielding the costs of purchase, but not production. Also, please be advised that this will be an NSFW artbook including themes of gore and suggestive content.

 

Expectations

We are looking for full sized illustrations, character art, spot illustrations/vignettes, clean sketches, or short comics. We will be assessing submissions for quality, adherence to theme and aesthetic, as well as content restrictions listed below in the submission requirements.

   Submission Requirements  

 Theme and Aesthetic

BANQUET OCT features explicit themes about cannibalism, body horror, food, eating, table manners and etiquette, elegance in savagery, opulence, extravagance, and indulgence. While creativity is encouraged, relevance to the overall concept is key.

 

 Content Restrictions

Blood and gore are permitted and encouraged, but keep it within reasonable artistic or thematic contexts. Softcore nudity and suggestive content are also allowed, provided the presentation remains tasteful and non-exploitative. However, explicit sexual content will not be accepted. Submissions should aim to maintain a respectful, artistic tone.

 

  
Artistic Integrity

Submissions must represent original work, with credit given where due. Plagiarism, use of AI, or use of copyrighted material without permission will result in disqualification.

 

  
Formatting & Resolution

Ensure that the files are in high resolution (preferably 300 DPI or higher) and submitted in either hi-res PDF, JPG, PNG, or TIFF formats. In the event we decide to switch to print, page size limit will default to A4 (8-1/4 x 11-3/4 in; 21.0 x 29.7 cm) and tabloid dimensions (11×17 in; 27.94 x 43.18cm).
